crucero Posted August 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2006 Hi everyone! I am beginning to freak out. We are leaving in 46 days for our cruise on the Carnival Elation with our 10 month old son. I've already made 3 pages of notes on things to bring from these posts...but I need some help with choosing what to do in port. We stop in San Juan, St. Thomas, Grand Turk, & Half Moon Cay. Does anyone have any tips on good things to do with baby? I know that Carnival offers babysitting in port until noon, so we could go alone & get babysitting. Any ideas? THANKS!! Julienatul Posted August 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2006 We brought our 7 month old to the beach, she loved the sand and water. I would probably stay away from anything that requires a bus trip/taxi. They are open and bumpy and nowhere to set the infant no seat belts, it wouldnt be good to hold him/her on your lap, too bumpy going up the mountain roads at least in st thomas, san juan you can get a closed taxi. Babysitting might be good for these days. Julie
