What to do in Nassau

We will be cruising with my parents in Oct. to Nassau. I was wondering if someone had any ideas of what we could do while there. My dad is 64 years old and hasn't been on vacation in several years. He doesn't like the beach scene or shopping and can't walk for long periods of time due to poor circulation in his legs. Does anybody have any ideas of something we can do?

My mom would like to go to the rum factory. Is it worth going to?

There are carriage rides very near the terminal... I guess you would need a couple of carriages.
