Renaissance Parking FLL

We are driving down the day before and are booked at the Renaissance on 17th Street. It says that they charge 18 dollars a day for parking, does this apply to the night that you stay there, or just if you intend on staying parked there for the length of the cruise?

I'm not sure, but I thought it was for any day (and mandatory), whether you park there for the cruise or not. I would call the hotel just to be sure.

By the way, did you book through Hotwire? We booked for December and saved $200 through them. It seems that's the 4 star they are advertising right now.
