Highlights of Panama excursion

Can anyone who has been on this excursion with Princess comment on it? It is pricey - $146 pp - but it sounds great. The other option would be booking something similar with Mario but we are a little concerned about not making it back to the ship in time, and we thought you could not get off the ship if you didn't book an excursion with Princess.
