How Many Buckeyes on Board?

Recommended Posts

  • 3 weeks later...

Another Buckeye here from Bedford, a suburb southeast of Cleveland. Graduate of Kent State. Now living in Colorado. So glad to find this thread, I feel like I'm back home!!

Just got off the Brilliance last Friday (Feb.4), 11-night Eastern Caribbean. Looking forward to July 29 on the Vision to Alaska. Anyone else going? My mom is going with us, she lives in Valley View now (near Independence, Maple Hts., Garfield Hts.).

Also thinking of the Med. next summer out of Barcelona.

Nice to connect with fellow Ohioans!

Susan

We live in Pepper Pike, just east of Cleveland. Son went to OSU, dau to BGSU, and son-in-law grew up in Circleville. However, we are both U of M grads, but support all the Cleveland teams. Also support the Buckeyes escept for THE GAME at the end of each season. Our next cruise is on the Radiance July 23 after a 3 night train trip through the Canadian Rockies. Have also enjoyed two HAL cruises, but RCI remains our favorite. Jim

Hello fellow Buckeye cruisers! I'm originally from MONROE ,Home of Larry Flynt's HUSTLER outlet store and the Solid Rock Church, so we're fair and balanced! I lived in MIAMISBURG, just south of Dayton then moved to Hudson, a suburb of Cleveland. We're going on the Brilliance March 18 . Anyone else cruising with us?

We're from Perrysburg, just south of Toledo. We're sailing on Explorer in March 2006...along with 23 (so far) friends. Most are from the Toledo area. Planning a countdown party in March 2005, exactly (to the hour) one year before we sail. Tired of winter and need to get into that tropical frame of mind!

Anyone wearing an Ohio State shirt with Caribbean motif? I got one from a Herrington catalog. Looks very sharp and it puts me in the cruising mood! Can't wait to feel those warm breezes , only 27 days more to go on the Brilliance southern caribbean cruise! GO BUCKS

15 miles south of Cincinnati in the beautiful rolling hills of KY. I call Cincinnati home and have for 57 years.....I have the best of both worlds. Close to shopping and downtown plus the joy of living in the country. ;)

You'll LOVE Alaska via cruise ship! We did 2 14-day repo cruises, both in May ('03 & '04) and loved every single minute!

Would love to have tri-peated it - but we're headed to the Med. next Thursday....any Ohioans on board Millie in the Med. out of Barcelona May 15?

(We're from Roundtown:eek: )

Hi Jules71,

Loved the Brilliance, in fact, we're waiting impatiently for the Venice Med. dates/prices to appear for next summer. The Brilliance, at least this year, cruises on that 12-day trip. The ship is great, it's that inbetween size, very managable. Cabins are larger than the Vision fleet. Try the Seaview Cafe, it's around the corner from the sports court. A lot of people didn't find it until the end of the trip! It's a nice change from the Windjammer or good for a late night snack where our 11-year old son would hang out with his pals. Everything was good. The only hesitation was the entertainment, just mediocre. Hopefully, some of the shows have been resolved. Have a wonderful time!
