Explorer 9 night duty free question / sales

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone off the 9 Night Explorer could tell me when the best sales are during the 9 night to buy duty free alcohol.

 

I have read threads where people say by the end of the cruise they are out of stock on alot of liquors which is why I wanted to buy mine the first couple days.

 

But I dont want to miss out on when the best sales are. So if anyone has experience with this, please post.

 

Also my wife is intrested in the best jewlery sales.

When I was on the Grandeur for a 5 night, I thought they were going to run out on the first night...Turns out they were always in stock and never ran out. I was able to get just about everything on the last night I wanted. The Cruzan rum deal is the best...$25 for 4 Bottles... On the Dawn this yr, they did run out of the good stuff. I guess RCI is better keeping it in stock.

Anyone also know if there are any limits for US Customs on how many you can buy. Or is it okay to buy as much as you want and declare and pay the taxes on it.
