Shopping for gold jewelry

If some has been the western Caribbean route lately and shopped for gold... could you tell me the names of some good shops? I am looking for a St Christopher for my son... Apparently he is the patron saint of surfers. ( I had no idea)

 

It has ben about 10 years since we have been to both Cayman and Cozumel, what are good shopping deals in each?

Grand Caymen may be your best bet in regards to jewelry. We were very disappointed in the jewelers of Cozumel. When our crew went to Cozumel we had a tough time finding jewelers who were honest with their merchandise. Manay lied about qualities of diamonds, many set pieces of jewelry did not have a karatage stamp, and some pieces when weighed correctly did not match what wasa promised. Of the dozens of jewelers that we checked out we only found two or three that we could recommend.
