Capt Bryan's and Tendering Question

We will be doing our own excursion with Capt Bryan. How exactly does the tendering work? Is there anything special we have to do since we are doing our own excursion? How long does it take to get off the ship? We will be meeting with Capt Bryan at 9:30 and I want to make sure we don't miss the excursion. :)

The tender time is not long (approx 20 min or less). There should be a person holding a sign with the company's name on it once you exit the pier area. The trick is to get a tender ticket that will get you off early. Get to the place where the tickets are being given out early. Make sure the staff knows you have a 9:30 trip.

We did Capt. Byran's last August and really had a great day.

Tendering took alot less time than I had thought it would. After you get off the tender boat at the pier, you take a walk to meet up with Capt. Bryan's excursion. It is not far, several blocks and does not take but a few minutes. From there you'll get on A/C small buses/large vans to the pier which is about a 15 to 20 minute drive where the boat is docked. After the excursion we were dropped off at the pier where our ship tendered.

Be aware that Grand Cayman is not on Eastern time. Some ships change their time to be the same as island time, and some ships keep Eastern Standard time. Ex.: Princess ships usually adjust their ship time to be the same as the island time they stop at, so 9:30 ship time is the same as 9:30 island time. RCCL usually keeps Eastern time, so 9:30 ship time is really 8:30 island time. This is not only important when figuring out what time to meet up with your tour, but also when planning when to be back at ship.

We just did them last week and they were so wonderful!

We were on Mariner and we kept to Eastern time on the ship but the island is on Central time so we arrived early and took the 9:30 tour instead. When you get off the ship you need to go to the street and follow it to the left about 2 blocks (very easy safe walk). You will then see the bakery sign on a yellow building (across the street on the right) and Capt Bryans is in the parking lot behind the bakery. There is a grocery store there across from the parking lot too so you can get water and sodas. They had water and punch on board the catamaran though.

We really thought they did a fantastic time with everyone as well. And they dropped us off right at Royal Palms as we asked without any problems.

Warning about Royal Palms though, the drinks there cost 8.95 u.s. for a small drink and was a total waste of money! Very disappointing! I suggest trying another location on 7 mile beach.

We were there last week on the Conquest. Due to Ernesto and an itineray change, we arrived late into GC. The people there are quite aware of delays and waited for all to arrive. We were put on the 10:30 trip. On the Conquest tender tickets were passed out in the main show lounge. Get there early. We had ticket #2 and were on the first tender out. Others on our trip had tender #8. Capt. Bryan's is a fantastic group to see the stingray with!
