cruisin 07 Posted August 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2006 :) Thanks for all the info from this web site I just booked my fishing trip with Ken of Northern Lights for Jun 7th. Was very impressed with Ken during our phone conversation. I called and left a message last night and he returned my call this morning. He is only operating one boat. His prices are very reasonable. $150 per person for 2 give or take depending on fuel etc. for next year. The great thing is that there are 7 in our party so I booked for 2 not knowing what the others wanted to do yet. If others decide to go then the price per person drops. Something I don't thing booking with the cruise line would do. Once again thanks to all of you that posted info on cc. Larry
arctic cat Posted August 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 21, 2006 My husband and son went fishing with Northern Lights 2 weeks ago when we were on the Diamond. There were 6 people on the boat. They caught fish and we shipped it home. We would highly recommend this charter.
sea_u_onboard Posted August 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2006 I just booked with Ken tonight for next July. He seems very personable and knowledgable. He said this year was a great year for Kings - hoping for the same next year. Question for those who have fished for the Kings before. If we decide to smoke the fish instead of freeze - how long does the fish keep?
