sierratango Posted August 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2006 Hi all, My Mom ,Daughter and myself are going from Bos-Ber in Sept. To celebrate Moms Birthday. We have a guarentied rm. 6041. on deck 6. Has anyone ever had this suite and is it big enough for the 3 of us? Looks like only 2 beds from the pictures and not enough rm. for a rollaway. Is there a pull down? Would love to know. How big and how is this rm. Also it is Country Line Dance week is that the only type of music they will offer that week? We love all kinds of Music and dancing. Just wondering. First time Cruisers ??? Can't Wait.:D  Thanks Deb in Ma.

hotspur Posted August 19, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2006 Just by happenstance, we were on the "country-line dance" cruise last year and managed to schedule it again, and again by happenstance, this year. Yes, there should be the usual shows in the theater and music of all types in the lounges at night, in addition to country-line dancing events. Frankly, if it weren't for all the hat boxes at the check-in line we probably wouldn't have known it was the theme for last year's cruise. The following week's theme is "cooking," with demonstrations by the ship's chefs, and this would have been a better fit for us. Oh, well. We're still expecting another terrific cruise. Lisa63 Posted August 19, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 19, 2006 According to NCL, 6041 is a superior inside cabin -- 145 square feet with two lower beds and one pullman. I'll be onboard the next cruise (this time tomorrow!) and will confirm for you... perhaps even get a photo.
sierratango Posted August 19, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted August 19, 2006 Your all so helpful..I just know... we are going to love this Cruise . I'm sure it will be very memorable for the three of us. We have never done a vacation with just us girls. We are very excited. I take it from the above post..There will be lots of C. Hat's going on. Should be interesting and fun. Anyone with other tips or info feel free to mention...;) Thanks Again...Deb in Ma.
macdays1 Posted August 19, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 19, 2006 Deb, you are going to love this cruise. I am a Majesty fanatic. I can't seem to get enough of her. I will be going on October 1, for the sixth time. She's a great ship! I have never stayed in that cabin before, but I always stay on Deck 6. (Majesty Deck)...It's so convenient to the casino, the Palace Theater, and just one level up from the dining rooms and more. Bermuda is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I can't wait to go back. Happy cruising!

Celeste43 Posted August 23, 2006 #15 Share Posted August 23, 2006 The room is a Superior Inside (not a suite). There are 2 twin beds with a pull down bunk on the right side. There is plenty of closet space for 3, as long as your only using the room to sleep in you'll be okay. Bring a night lite because the room is very dark. I know you'll have a great time. duncanmaria Posted August 24, 2006 #21 Share Posted August 24, 2006 Our family of four sailed the Majesty in January in an AB suite (plenty of room and very nice perks for the price!) and we had a fabulous time. The ship is older, smaller and cozier as compared to, I guess, today's megaliners; however, we loved every minute of our second cruise! The ship was well-kept and the staff very attentive and friendly. Staying in an AB suite, we were invited to the Captain's welcome party on the second night and got to speak with several higher-ranking officers who had served several contracts on the Majesty. They were all proud of the little ship and spoke highly of her in comparison with some of the grander NCL vessels. We are trying another ship this year but would recommend the Majesty to anyone who enjoys the intimacy of smaller ship sailing. . .we would sail her again in a heartbeat!!
