Actually, a quick google for "Calvin and Hobbes" found Wickipedia and

He is named after 17th century philosopher Thomas Hobbes, who had what Watterson described as "a dim view of human nature."

He noted that in choosing the name "Freedom" for the ship, the line was emphasizing how all-inclusive the vessel will be. "Whatever you want to do, you have the freedom to choose" he said.

 

Freedom to choose. Liberty to choose. Justice to choose???

I think Romance of the Seas seems like a good choice as well.

I would like this more on a smaller, more intimate, adult-oriented ship. Somehow "Romance" is not a flowrider...

My vote is for Independence, but there was a American Hawaii cruise line ship years ago named the Independence. Don't know if it's still afloat or not.

I like independence, although I think it is unlikely.

Not for the third Freedom class ship... with Genesis coming, supersize will have a new meaning... and then there's the one after that... we may need to start using Mariner and her sisters as life boats...or is that "life SHIPS"

 

Also do we want another ship that everyone will abbreviate SOS :eek: :D ?
