Help!!!!

I am leaving on the Miracle in August. I have never cruised with Carnival. can you tell me anything about the ship or the line. All I know is that we are leaving from NYC and I will be on a cruise. My wife did all of the plans. I need help!!!!

Now, the Miracle is a Spirit class ship. This is a fantastic ship for your first Carnival cruise. I have been on the Legend, also a Spirit class, and really loved it.

What is a spirit Class Ship? I am in a suite in the center of the ship but I don't know which deck.

How is the food? Entertainment? Activities? I will be traveling w/o children so we don't need to worry about them getting bored. Is the ship well maintained? How many pools? Hot tubs? What is the average drink cost? Do they have any specials for drinks? What is the staff like?

I know that I have a lot of questions but this, as I said, is my first Carnival cruise. I will register tonight.

[size=3]This should answer some of your questions. The food and staff were excellent on my cruise. So much so that we booked the Legend again for March 2005. There are usually two "Vegas" style shows per cruise plus the usual assortment of comedians, singers, hypnotists, magicians, etc. Our cruise had a tribute to Sammy Davis, Jr. that was outstanding. There are drink specials every day. The cost is about $3 w/o the souvenier glass, $5 - $6 with the glass. Normal mixed drink prices are around $5 and a bucket (4) of beer runs about $11.[/size]

I was on the Miracle in early June. It was great. The staff is wonderful. One show you must see is the tribute to the Beatles. The show with the hypnotist was not very good. overall, a great time!! have fun.
