nlgirl Posted August 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2006 I am thinking on going the NCL Wind and would like to know if there is a better side to be on port or starboard for their Hawaii Cruise. Please give me some feed back
foursum Posted August 22, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2006 We had starboard but it didn't seem to matter. Especially on the many sea days to/from Fanning--same view out both sides. A great cruise-take it.
CruisinMK Posted August 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2006 It shouldn't matter much, they'll loop back so both sides can view the lava flow, and this cruise skips napali coast
ronheg Posted August 24, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2006 We were on the Wind in April and I would definitely book a forward port cabin. There was a terrible sewer stench on the aft and mid starboard side on the promenade deck. Also the 8th floor had odor problems. Maybe it's been fixed, but I wouldn't take a chance. CruisinMK Posted August 24, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2006 The wind went into drydock in late April 2006 for repairs right after your cruise. :)
