B2B and SetSail Pass?

Recommended Posts

Apparently going in to the online form through My Cruises was the problem for me. I logged out, entered the res #'s and info and was able to view them both and complete the SetSail Pass forms.

Thanks for all the tips and tricks. Is it too early to pack for December? :)

Thanks for all the helpful info......Does anyone know if they'll let us stay on the ship in San Juan or do we have to get off?

You are free to do whatever you want after you have been checked in for the second week. You can stay on the ship or get off in the port and walk around......making sure you are back 1/2 hour before sailing.

It's never too early to start packing for a cruise!! LOL:D

I had the same problem with My Cruises and filling out the forms online or even viewing the res #'s. So I just went to Before You Board, then On-Line Check In and did what you did and everything was good to go. Must be a hick-up in their geddy-up!!

Specifically Navigator out of Miami, does anybody know what time we will be able to disembark the morning between cruises?

Thanks for the heads up on the cell phone idea and bringing all our docs with us when we get off!

I love this board!

We've done a b2b on Navigator, but this has been several years ago. Disembarking for b2b passengers all depends on what time you are cleared through Customs and Immigration. Usually before noon would be a good guestimate. Aren't cell phones great?:D

You do have to get off the ship and walk through the security (not customs or immigration) but the entrance area to get a new picture swiped on to your new sea pass. When you receive the new sea pass, there is no picture associated with the pass. That is the reason you will have to exit the ship to the area where the pictures are taken. You do not have to leave the embarkment area of the ship and go outside on land to do this. After you register on week one, take note of where you sea pass got the picture taken at( right before you take the esculator to go up to the ship), and that is the area you will have to go to for the 2nd week. Keep in mind if you go out to get your picture or to leave the ship when you receive your NEW Sea pass (11:30am before the new pax board) you WILL have to go through Customs! Wait until after 12:30 to leave the ship for land, or if just going for a retake of you pic Wait till after 12:30(when boarding has started) to avoid CUSTOMS!

Leaving the ship was not up to us as we had to wait to be escorted through by a ship's officer. We were all told to meet in the champagne lounge by 10.30 am. You could NOT decide to go when YOU wanted to go and so could not wait until after the new people had boarded.

And we did have to go through immigration and customs as the ship had been to a non US port before arrival back at the end of the first week. Even US citizens had to do this and had to fill out the customs form.

Maybe different ships and ports have different rules- the best thing is to check early in your first week.

Any way being on a back to back is fantastic.

My above post is for the Adventure ship b2b at the San Juan Port. That is the only b2b I have ever done! And that was the procedure ALL b2b pax

were offered. We did have a CHOICE to exit through customs or exit after boarding. We also visited other non US ports but immigration was done on the Ship while docked in St. Thomas.
