digital_curator Posted July 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2004 My husband and I are travelling to St. Maarten in January on our first cruise :) We are looking for shore excursions independent of our ship. Has anyone gone snorkeling on the Lord Sheffield Tall Ship? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Snorkelcat Posted July 8, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2004 I have been looking at that excursion too. I will be watching for the answer as well. What ship & when are you all going? My bunch is going on the Caribbean Princess Jan 15-22.

Snorkelcat Posted July 9, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 9, 2004 We will be there the same day, different ship. I wonder how many others will be there? Can get crowded!
digital_curator Posted July 11, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted July 11, 2004 Hey Snorkelcat, Saw your other post about snorkelling and looked over the other sights. If it's on the up and up, I still think the lord sheffield looks like the best value for $. I just wish I could hear from one person that it was o.k. :) Have you come to any conclusions? Snorkelcat Posted July 12, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2004 Not yet. There are several people spread out across the US that ate in on the decision. We have been looking at Sand Dollar snorkel, At Random, Lord Sheffield, and O2 Limits (Dive shop operator). I want to know where they would be going as that is what I base my choice on using my dive and snorkel site reference/recommendation books. I want to see all I can. I do underwater photography while I snorkel, so I want all the diversity and all the critters I can see/get! If I find some info, I'll post it for you here, or find you somewhere.
