How's the weather?

We are planning a Western Caribbean (Belize, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Grand Cayman) cruise on the Carnival Miracle next May 13th, 2007 and would appreciate hearing from anyone that either took a cruise around that mid-May time? In't much cheaper than waiting until school is out in mid June. In the past we have gone to the East or Southern stops in mid to late July and usually have fantastic, sun shining, 85-95 degree days and can bask in the limelight. Is there a rainy season that should be avoided?
