I am booked on the 9/30 sailing of the Diamond Princess. When can I expect to receive my documents. This is the first cruise I have booked online as my TA got out of the business. I received my pre-cruise documents about 4 weeks ago and they are complete.

Thanks for the info. I'll be on the lookout in the next few weeks. Have fun on the CB. We were on her in March. She's a fun ship.

You will read every now and again on these boards about folks never receiving their cruise docs before they leave. But as long as you have a booking number, I understand you're safe, even if you have to put luggage tags on at the dock!

I am on the 9.23 CP, I called Princess and they told me they mailed them out a week ago. Then I called Travelocity. This was the response that gave me. Princess sends them the tickets then the foward them to there customers. They were sent first class mail, and should be there at my house by Saturday. Just a heads up

We received our cruise documents last week for the October 7th sailing. We have also received our shore excursions brochure and FAQ's brochure. We were quite surprised!!

In the past we didn't receive them till two weeks prior to departure.

So alll our documents, passports and plane tickets are ready, now comes the packing:rolleyes:

On our June sailing on Sapphire Princess, our TA kept calling Princess and being told they would overnight the next day...and the next...etc. The day before we left for our landtour, she was so fed up, she got Princess to give us each $25 shipboard credit for the inconvenience. We didn't need them to board or begin our cruisetour, just did as someone else posted and copied our booking page from the cruise personalizer. No one ever asked to see them. Just asked for our names at the tour desk and off we went. BTW, the docs finally caught up with us 2 days before our cruise on the last stop of our landtour.
