Winter Cruising out of NYC

How cold is it really during Feb. I am scheduled for a Feb 8 day curise on the Spirit out of NYC. Do you have to go outside during the muster if it is that cold and stand like you do out of Florida. This is my first NCL cruise out of NYC. I usually go out of Florida on Carnival .

It won't be too different from where you are in MA. I sailed on the Dawn back in Feb 2004 and it was cold but not frigid. You need to be prepared for anything between 0° and 40°, not including wind chill. And yes, the muster drill was held out on deck.

It's cold in the northeast in Feb. I'm sure shoreguy has a great picture to post for you.

 

It's hit and miss could be below zero and could be 40-50's you never know. That's the fun of living here.
