jeh4554 Posted August 28, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 28, 2006 The lack of the promenade cafe is what I missed most on the Enchantment. There is a Latitudes coffee bar (coffee drinks and some pastries) but there will be an extra charge for anything you order from it. There is a snack bar in the back of the Solarium with limited hours of operation...mostly pizza, burgers. That said, it is a beautiful ship and we were never hungry;) . Have a great cruise. ottawapuppy Posted August 28, 2006 #7 Share Posted August 28, 2006 There is a snack bar kind of thing in the Solarium. They serve hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, chips and salsa. We enjoyed our midnight snacks here on Channie. It was open quite late, one of our table mates said that when they stumbled home from the Viking Crown at 2am, it was still open. Here is a picture of it, taken around midnight one evening: http://schplinky.smugmug.com/photos/71256547-M-1.jpg
sailingsue5 Posted August 28, 2006 Author #8 Share Posted August 28, 2006 Thanks for all the info. We have 3 kids (2 teens) sailing with us and they are always hungry at different times of day and night. Just was wondering what other options there were besides WJ at odd hours. Besides the one midnight buffet, do they have any other midnight "snacks" that are served in different areas of the ship such as lounges and pool?
