Mardi Gras on the Conquest??

Is there a Mardi Gras theme night on the Conquest? I am thinking that I read that somewhere.

 

If so . . . How does it work? Beads? Costumes?

Me and the wife sailed on the Conquest back at the end of February and we had a party on the Lido deck..... beads... costumes..... everything!!!!.... Was a super time for everyone. :)

We had a Mardi Gras party on the Conquest in July 2005 when it was still going out of NO. It was a blast! Beads everywhere!!!! My granddaughter still has hers in her room -- doesn't let anyone touch them! A party not to be missed!!

 

I hope it doesn't end when the current CD (Todd) leaves to go to a new ship! He really knows how to throw a party!!!

We will have our own REAL Mardi Gras Krewe from LA with us when we cruise in Oct. With them & our large CC group....it should be an event to remember. :D

The Mardi Gras party was one of my favorite things about the cruise. Looking forward to it again in about 3 weeks. :D

 

Do the other Carnival ships do it too? If not, do they have another party in its place?

The ship gave out some cheap beads when I sailed on Conquest in 2003. This time we will be bringing our own...the good ones. :D
