Bell Ringer Posted August 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2006 There are many churches across the islands, you may consider attending a service. After a quick lunch, head to the beach and relax! Enjoy the scenery. If it is raining, you may need to just have a great time relaxing on the ship. They will have some activities to enjoy or you can take that restorative nap, so you can dance the night away. Have fun!

AAAAmerican Posted September 8, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 8, 2006 Yes Bergen County here, One of Twenty One, in New Jersey has the Blue Laws still in effect. So Sunday is already a know entity .. like San Juan PR too they do not even open till later if at all ... Enjoy nature as it is Sunday in the Islands of Bermudas... So much else to do there... :D
mrdorbert Posted September 8, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 8, 2006 Most of the hotels have fabulous brunches on Sundays. If you have the chance, you should try one of them. Michelle
Coli Posted September 8, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 8, 2006 Hi there! Actually your ship docks at King's Wharf, Dockyard correct? The whole of Dockyard is open 7 days a week - shops, restaurants, and museums. The question you really should be asking at this point is - will you be here on Sunday to go to Dockyard? :D
oldIrish Posted September 8, 2006 #7 Share Posted September 8, 2006 :) There are at least 3/4 ferry lines running out of Hamilton. Great way to see the Island and visit some of the off beat spots. Since your are on a ship, I doubt the brunches are of interest.
lambs2 Posted September 11, 2006 #8 Share Posted September 11, 2006 After visiting one of the local churches for a service I would head to the Beach! My favorite beaches in Bermuda are Tobacco Bay in St. George and (my VERY favorite) ALL the beaches stretching from Warwick Long Bay to Horseshoe Bay. We actually walked the entire route between these beaches --mostly on the beach but in a few areas you have to take the dunes on a well-worn path. But be sure and have shoes of some kind and sunscreen as takes a couple hours for this gorgeous walk. We used the city bus to get to the beach and also returned to the ship on it. Bell Ringer Posted September 13, 2006 #9 Share Posted September 13, 2006 http://www.walk.free.bm/ is the website for the Walking Club with a different walk every Sunday. It is free and they say they welcome visitors. You may like to check that out if it interests you!
