Taxi cost to Jolly Pirate

Can anyone tell me how much the taxi cost is to get from the cruise terminal to the jolly pirate excursion? Does it really take 45 minutes to get there? That could be a very expensive taxi ride. Thanks!

45 minutes will give you a "cushion". In all likelyhood, it will not take that long. Traffic bottlenecks in downtown Oranjestad where your ship docks are not uncommon, so I would take their advice so you do not chance missing the boat. Taxi fare is $10 each way. That is per car, not per person.

Check the bus route. I'm not sure where you take off from, but the bus goes down through the hotel areas. When we stayed there a week, we used the busses all the time and found them great. Give yourself plenty of time. They run on a lazier time route than say your Amtrak.They run around $1.50. I'm sure there is a web site for the route and rates.

Thanks. $10 is great. A 45 minute taxi ride here would run about $60.
