Need Miami transportation info

Can anyone help me out with some ground transportion info. We sail next Sunday on the Valor and are flying in on Sat. Plan to stay close to the port. Is it sheaper to rent a car to get to the hotel & port, or is there a good shuttle service or cab? We also need to get back to the airport on the return.

We have cruised out of Miami several times (once on the Valor) and we use

a taxi. It is the best way to go. Check out the web sites for the Leslie,

Shelley (there are others in the group) hotels on South Beach. They offer

a free shuttle from the airport and a free breakfast the next morning. A taxi

from South Beach to the Port of Miami will cost about $30.00. Valor is a

grand ship. Have a wonderful cruise.
