first time cruiser - pre paid tips

Hi, we are first time cruisers. We opted to pre pay our tips but how does this actually work? How do we let people know we have pre-paid?

On the second to last night you will receive some envelopes with vouchers inside. Hand these to the Waiter, Head Waiter, Mait'd and the Cabin Steward. You can add more if you wish or a note saying thank you. don't forget the comment card too.
