Scuba diving in the Pacific during Panama Canal Cruise 11/27/06

We have been diving since May 2003. When we cruise we always try to find the opportunity to do some diving at each port. We booked the 11/27/06 Panama Canal Cruise on the Regal Princess starting from Acapulco to San Juan. We are able to find dive operators in Acapulco and Aruba. Not much luck in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala and Puntarenas, Costa Rica. There are dive operators in Costa Rica but they are located 2 hours away, not feasible.

 

We looking for recommendations of diving opportunities in the Pacific side of Central America. Anyone has experience in this area?

We only dove in Aruba on a similar cruise. The Pacific just doesn't have much to offer.

We dove with Red Sail in Aruba and it was the worst boat dive we have ever been on.

MauiLvrs: We're going to use Searuba Fly 'n Dive operator while in Aruba. We heard many good reviews so hopefully they're true.
