I'd also think it would depend upon the level of service received. If your outing was just so-so then no gratuity would be necessary. But if you were fawned over and the crew made a fuss to get you anything and everything you needed or wanted--then by all means show them the love!

 

I've had both experiences and believe me, great service is always rewarded. It chaps me to no end when you feel like needing to escape from a terrible experience and nearly running over the fellow with his hand out for a tip. :( But they don't "get it" and they never will!

 

I hope you have a wonderful excursion, baileybaby! The kind that leaves you light in the pockets... :D
