Yes, of course folks have! Just wrap it well (in case of breakage) and put it in your checked (not carry-on) luggage. And then don't worry about it! If you're keeping it in your room, you have no need to pay a "corkage" fee!(What the hell is that anyway???)! If you are bringing wine for your dining room table, then they will make you pay that fee--which is ridiculous, IMO!!!
