America's Cup + Marigot + Orient Beach + Phillipsberg??

Hey everyone,

 

As mentioned in the title, I would like to do the 11:45-2:45 America's cup, and also visit Marigot, Orient Beach & Phillipsberg.

 

Do you think this is feasible?

Should I rent a car?

Will Taxi be too expensive?

Or should I just skip America's cup?

 

I'm willing to get off the boat as soon as I can in the morning (7am?), in order to maximize my activities in St. Maarten.

BTW, I will be on Caribbean Princess, which is at St. Maarten between 7am - 5pm.

The America's Cup trip from 11:30a to 3:00p will absolutely destroy your planned itinerary. All it will realistically allow is shopping at Philipsburg and MAYBE a quick trip to Orient and back. If you did the first trip of the day then you would have some options.

 

Even then, the shops in PBurg don't open until 9:30 or 10:00a.
