BarbCT605 Posted September 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2006 I've never booked a cruise so far in advance before, but I gotta get on the Gem:D . So, before booking the Gem for January 2008 (!!), I want to be sure about the cancellation policy. From NCL's web site, the policy is that the deposit is forfeited 75-46 days before cruise: Cruises 8 days or more (excluding Hawaii) is 75 - 46 days prior to deposit, cruise cancellation fee is the Deposit My question is: If I have to cancel 76 days or prior to that time, will I receive my deposit back? Thanks in advance.

shoreguy Posted September 10, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2006 Yes if you book in the USA. It may take 4 to 6 weeks to hit your card. In the UK it seems that the deposit is not refundable.

BarbCT605 Posted September 10, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted September 10, 2006 Thanks for the info. Will book the Gem next week. I'll use the Pearl's deckplans. (I'm addicted -- can't go on a cruise until another one is booked. Must avoid the Post Cruise Depression at all "costs.")
