What's there to do in Cristobal?

im hoping to go on the brilliance in march for the panama partial, just wonderdering what there is to do in Cristobal? I hear of shopping, but is that all????? there must be more

There is really nothing to do at Cristobal except shopping. You do not want to leave the pier area unless you are on a ship excursion. Also, you'll only be at the pier at Cristobal for maybe 4 hours. Most of your time that day will be spent transiting into Gatun Lake, waiting for passengers to tender ashore on the ship's shore excursions, and then transiting back out of the Canal.
