Private Departure Lounge

Recommended Posts

My family was on the AOS in July and used the private depature lounge. It was just a private room off of the main dining room.

There were rolls and other items, but no hot food. OJ was there along with Champien (?) to make Mimosas.

While my family (wife and two daughters) were in the lounge, another couple tried to bring friends into the lounge and were turned away. They were told thier friends could not come in but they could.

We were off of the ship very fast. Its a great perk.

This will be my first cruise as a Platinum Member. Could anyone describe the private departure lounge. Is it crowded? Is breakfast provided, or just coffee and snacks?

Would my group of 4 be better off to enjoy breakfast on the deck or enjoy the lounge?

If you are in no rush to get off the ship I'd recommend enjoying your breakfast on the deck (Windjammer??).
