QE2 world cruise 2006 - Safaga Egypt...

Is there anyone reading the board that visited Safaga in Egypt this last world cruise? Im curious as to what excursions you were offerred. Ive been to Egypt a number of times but this will be my first time to the port of Bur Safaga and am thinking its worthwhile staying around there rather than heading across to Luxor and Aswan..where Ive been before....thanks..

Never been there but I've been told it's a good place for aquatic sports, especially diving, if it's your type of thing.

thanks...I ve done some research on the net ... found the out the same thing...was wonderring what tours they offer from the boat., wether they are all aquatic orientated or if there was something more historical worth seeing....
