Categorie 12 on Mercury

We've just sailed on the Galaxy and enjoyed our med. cruise very much, it was a superb Celebrity experience. We knew it was an older ship, but we cruise primary for the itinerary.

 

The engines on the Galaxy were very loud, especially, and this is my point, in the dining room. I want to book a Mexican Riviera cruise on the Mercury, but the only available cabincategorie is 12. What is your experience with this categorie, I think it's situated at the lowest deck and I'm afraid that I'll fall out of bed due to the engines at the aft :) Is it that bad and is the gangway "decorated" or is it close to the medical and crew facilities?
