dvswar Posted September 14, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2006 We're taking the Star Clipper from Cannes to Lisbon for 10 days, starting October 14, 2006. Does anyone out there have ideas on what kind of clothing would be appropriate for the weather that time of year and that part of the world? We do know that the ships are very relaxed and casual, but we need info on how chiily it might be.
paolar47 Posted September 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2006 We did the Lisbon to Cannes in late May. Definetly bring a jacket or light windbreaker for evenings on deck, it's always cool on the ocean at night. Also bring non skid shoes, the deck can get quite wet from the ocean spray. For daytime, the weather should still be warm and comfortable, in May it was downright hot, just have a sweatshirt handy for the odd cool day. Have a great trip, we loved it even if some of the excursions were a disappointment ( you can read my review on this same board).
