There is a news release today about RCCL going to Far East

 

AMI (AP) - Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., the world's second-largest cruise operator, said late Thursday its Royal Caribbean International unit will start launching ships from Asia starting next year.

 

The company's Vision-class ship will sail from Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai to ports in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Korea, Japan and Taiwan.

 

Adam Goldstein, president of Royal Caribbean International, said in a statement that the company is making the move to expand its presence in emerging and high-growth markets.

 

The Rhapsody of the Seas vessel will debut in Singapore on Dec. 10, 2007. The ship weighs 78,491 tons and has a total guest capacity of 2,435. --- and so on
