jenlynmc Posted July 12, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2004 We have a rather large rolling suitcase. If we bring it, is there a good place to store it in the room or should I pack a few softsides instead? Also, does anyone know what day they do the $20 laundry on a 7 night cruise? Thanks!;)
romy Posted July 12, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2004 Hi, I too have a rather large roll-on, soft side and it fits nicely under the bed. As far as the $20 laundry deal, I'm on a 12 nighter and am curious as well! Happy Sailing!!! Romy
crystalloubear Posted July 12, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 12, 2004 They offered it on the Dawn 7 night on Wednesday - returned laundry Friday evening. We did our own in the laundry room. The washers and dryers were free and the soap was $1. Was planning on doing the laundry thing for $20 but didn't have enough stuff to make it until Friday - hell we came home Sunday. curlstravel Posted July 12, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2004 On the Star you had to turn it in by Thurs. There was no laundry room to do it yourself. If you are staying on vacation a few extra days or wk, it saves you from having to bring too many clothes.
jenlynmc Posted July 12, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted July 12, 2004 We will actually be on the Sun doing the Alaska trip. Does anyone know about laundry on there? I understand there are not washer/dryers. Thanks.!
ron46936 Posted July 12, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2004 My advice is to buy more socks and undies. Face it, you will eventually need them anyway. My wife and I had no trouble packing enough clothes for 16 days in two large suitcases each.
