Casino Credit

I have seen on the Princess site that you can buy Casino Gift Cards (don't know if that's the right word).

 

Has anyone done this. DW and I do like to hit the Casino a few times, and I was thinking instead of hauling cash or extra travellers checks to just buy the Casino gift cards and make sure to use them!

 

Do you just take them to the cashier and collect chips (at which point I assume you could cash the chips in for cash?)

 

Any additional information would be fantastic!

Yes you can call Princess in advance an order casino chips (in any dollar amount) as bon voyage gifts if you like. There will be a voucher in your cabin which you cash in the casino for cash. My husband and I give each other gifts every time we cruise. Also Princess does not charge a fee as they do if you wait till you board the ship which is 3 %. Have fun!;)
