Leaving the ship once it reaches port

For docked ports you can get off pretty much as soon as the ship is cleared, for tender ports you will likely have to wait until the ship tours are off first. They seem to let off a few tenders between the ship tour tenders, but you have to get there early for those. I would think 9:30 would be ok for either if you are supposed to dock at 8:00 am. As someone else said, the private guides usually know when you'll be off the ship.
