clerky96 Posted September 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2006 I am looking for flights in Feb and when I go to every other website, the fares are around $300 pp. Today I was able to find flights through lowestfare.com for $155 pp. Anyone every purchased airline tickets from them? Thanks. Donna
clerky96 Posted September 21, 2006 Author #2 Share Posted September 21, 2006 Never mind. I found out they were bought out by Priceline and when I checked this afternoon, the $153 price is no longer there. Weird!
fti Posted September 21, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 21, 2006 Fares within the US change constantly. Too bad you couldn't find that lower fare again. Keep your eyes open - it might change again. Often does. Once you find a bargain, jump on it since it very well might not last long. Most airlines have a best price guarantee, i.e. their website has the lowest fare. But I have heard that it is often hard to make a claim on this when you find something cheaper elsewhere.
