  1. I have no opinion regarding your choice of cruise ships. However, October 1st begins Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration, and it will be exciting - but crowded. If you decide to go there, you’ll need to have admission tickets in advance in order to make theme park reservations.
  2. Hopefully you won’t need to have another interview. When my husband applied online to renew his Global Entry, he got his approval within 10 days, and didn’t need an interview.
  3. Your post #13 refers to moving deposits. Your post #15 is in response to that poster’s suggestion that the OP opt for a full refund. Your comment seems to indicate a refund is possible “if the OP has a refundable deposit.”
  4. I applied online to renew my Global Entry in August 2019, and it was conditionally approved in Dec. 2019. However, I still had to go for another interview.
  5. If the cruise line cancels and the cruise was paid for using cash (not FCCs) - a full refund is one of the options. It doesn't matter whether the deposit was refundable or nonrefundable. I can understand not wanting to make the final payment, especially if it's pretty large. However, paying it off and waiting for the cruise line to cancel is the only way to get a refund when the deposit is nonrefundable.
  6. I have no current plans to sail in 2021, and can happily wait until my next cruise in September 2022 to sail.
  7. I did this in 2014, thanks to Alla Tours. Days 1 and 3 were spent in St. Petersburg, and day 2 was spent in Moscow. We took the train early and returned late, and had about 8 hours in Moscow.
  8. Thank you for sharing this lovely video! I posted a link to it on the roll call for my Voyager of the Seas Arctic Crossing Transatlantic in 2022.
  9. Feb. 2-7, 2020 on Disney Wonder from San Juan to New Orleans.
  10. Voyager does Canada cruises out of Boston in September and October 2022. Odyssey sails from Ft. Lauderdale Nov. 2022 - April 2023.
  11. Our first family trip to Europe was 3 weeks on land in 2000, when our kids were 10, 13, and 16. We spent a week in London, 10-days driving through Germany, and 4 days in Paris. Rick Steves' guide books were very helpful, especially Europe Through the Back Door (https://store.ricksteves.com/shop/p/europe-through-the-back-door). Rick's Mediterranean Cruise Ports and Scandinavian & Northern European Cruise Ports books are great for those arriving by cruise ship, and will help you decide where to sail (https://store.ricksteves.com/shop/p/mediterranean-cruise-ports; https://store.ricksteves.c
  12. I'd like to cruise to New Zealand again, but I'd prefer a one-way Auckland - Sydney cruise or a Bottom End cruise. Maybe Jan/Feb 2024 will have what I'm looking for.
  13. CWC is applicable to FCC used to book by April 30, 2022 and sailed by Sept 30, 2022: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-with-confidence
