Are all of the pools salt water?

I know that most of the pools on board are salt water (I remember that the hot tubs were not) but are there any fresh water pools? What about the kiddie pool is that salt water as well???

 

We are going on the Explorer but I assume that all the ships are the same.

My understanding is that all RCI ships are salt. Disney and Princess, I have been told, are not.

At one point, pools on Explorer were fresh water. We experienced that a year or so ago and I recently read a recent post that said the same.

Same thing here, recently heard that Explorer had fresh water pools. I had to call RCCL and they confirmed that it will remain fresh water.

 

I guess putting out all the surveys (some time ago) paid off. RCCL must have read them and are making small steps to reflect the survey.

 

I wonder if they are going to change Early or Late seating to anytime????? What will they do next? Time will tell.

Just off the Mariner last week. The pools are salt water, but its not real salty. All the spas are fresh water though.

Thanks for the info - I guess I should just call RCCL and ask. I wa more interested in finding out about the kids pool - hopefully it is fresh water with chlorine to kill off - well, anything that might get in there.

According to Burbunny, all pools are converting to Fresh Water.
