cdnliving Posted September 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2006 We are finally narrowing our cruising options for our March break trip with our two children 10 7 12 - and I think we've somewhat narrowed it to these two cruises. Has anyone been on both lines who could make a recommendation with regards to : Which is more lively, better/more entertainment, and kids programs. I realize they both come well recommended, but some insight on these differences would be most appreciated. Thanks so much...
Rare Keith1010 Posted September 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2006 We have cruised on several lines including these and our children have been on both cruise lines. We found that both had excellent children's programs so I would recommend either one. There will be much for the children to do in these programs and both ships will surely have lots of children for them to meet. For the adults, we enjoy Celebrity more than Princess. But, there will be others who will give you the opposite view. So, I can only speak for myself. If I had two choose between the two lines for just one cruise, I would go with Celebrity. But, either one will likely be great. Keith

Rare Keith1010 Posted September 24, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 24, 2006 I have not sailed on the Sun Princess but we have sailed several times on the Grand Princess and the Summit which is a sister ship of the Constellation. I would say very similar. Keith
POEBUS Posted September 24, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 24, 2006 Hello. I am going on the Sun Princess on Oct. 11th with my mom and 11 year old son. Do they have the kid programs if my child is the only one on board? Does there have to be a certain number for Princess to keep the kids things going? Thanks to all that reply! cdnliving Posted September 24, 2006 Author #7 Share Posted September 24, 2006 I haven't cruised yet, so I can not speak from experience, however I did read on the Princess website that there had to be twenty children to run a program.
