brandybold Posted September 27, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2006 We're doing Amsterdam to Budapest next July with Amadeus. I want to book a couple of nights in Amsterdam before the cruise and am wondering if air conditioning is necessary at that time of year? Hotel recommendations would also be appreciated. letsgo39 Posted September 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2006 Yes you definitely need air conditioning in July in Amsterdam. I have made reservation for a post cruise night at the ACH Leidse Square Hotel Amsterdam . I always use www.tripadvisor.com to make reservations for hotels in Europe. Go to tripadvisor and then to the Amsterdam forum and click on Amsterdam Hotels. You will get the ratings and other info on the hotels. You can also make your reservations using the links provided. Ine Posted September 28, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2006 You probably will need airco. However the weather in NL can be unstable, so also count on some cooler days. Recently I made this list of various hotels, so you can check them.
