Hawaii Cruise Ships in Port Overnight Question

Will be on Pride of Aloha in May 2007 and some of the port stops the ship is dock overnight.

Was just wondering if the ship will still have a be back on board time or can you come and go at anytime until next day set sail time.

We were on the Aloha the first week of September and were told that we could come and go all night as we chose. We didn't try, however, so we can't say how it worked in practice.

They have people set up on the dock to search you and then check you in all night long. It's just like during the day.

 

We took late night romantic drives in both Maui and in Kauai and had no problems getting back on the ship quickly.
