P.A. Posted October 1, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2006 I'm so mad, just saw when I went to my cruise personilizer, that our BOB adventure while were in ST Thomas has been canceled! I called Princess and asked them and she said I would have to call back tomorrow as there not open on Sundays for her to check. Anyone know why? Wondering if there was an accident or something? And we were so looking forward to this tour! :(
MaryPoppinz Posted October 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2006 It's been cancelled on all Princess voyages. I have no idea why, but I wonder if it's because of the change from Havensight to Crown Bay? You might be able to book it directly: http://www.bobunderwateradventure.com/
rjack22 Posted October 1, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2006 This might be something you could book for yourself, rather than a ship's tour. You could check it out.
Stevesan Posted October 1, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2006 There's apparently an independent operator. Found this with a Google search: http://www.bobunderwateradventure.com/
MauiLvrs Posted October 2, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 2, 2006 You could try a Discover SCUBA class instead.
P.A. Posted October 2, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted October 2, 2006 I just talked to Princess and the lady called the tour company and they said that the Underwater Adventure is closing down and will no longer be a tour. I don't really understand that because it was so popular. Bummer! :( If anyone hears differently, please post.
riverboatgambler Posted October 2, 2006 #7 Share Posted October 2, 2006 You could try a Discover SCUBA class instead. Excellent suggestion. I booked with Cokidive.com, (same one that Princess uses on their tour). You learn on the beach and walk into the water. Excellent instructors, and if they are others in your group who do not want to do this they can use the beach while you scuba.
MaryPoppinz Posted October 2, 2006 #8 Share Posted October 2, 2006 Have you contacted the tour operator directly to ask about it?
P.A. Posted October 2, 2006 Author #9 Share Posted October 2, 2006 Have you contacted the tour operator directly to ask about it? From their website I did send them an email, however, I have not heard from them, and there is no phone number listed. :( About the previous post, we are not really into scuba, but thanks!
