We will be leaving on our first cuise Saturday on the CB. Do you fill out the embarkation luggage tag yourself before get to the port or does cruise line do it for you? Thanks:D
If you have a cabin assignment, you fill out the tags.

When you arrive at the pier, things happen very quickly and you won't have much time, if any, to get your tags on your luggage. Some people put their luggage tags on before flying from home; others put them on when they get them from the airline luggage carousel. There are reasons for both. One reason to put them on before flying is that if your luggage is lost or delayed by the airline, they know where to send the luggage. To me, that's a pretty powerful reason.

I usually put them on my luggage almost immediately after getting them in the mail!

;)

Me too! When we arrived, by Taxi, the porter took our bags straight from the car. We gave him his tip and next time we saw the bags, they were outside our cabin.
