celebrityskinz Posted October 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2006 Hello everyone I am a photographer from Arizona, and I was wondering if any of the locations I will be traveling to require a photography permit for shooting on the beaches. I'll be on the Navigator as of Oct 14th. I plan on just letting the people I meet on the ship that if they happen to see me at the ports to let me know if they want a few pictures of themselves or their families. It's rare I can shoot in such beautiful places and I'm not at all trying to make any money. I'll just email them the pictures. It's just good practice for me and I'll have my camera anyway. I know in other places around the world you need you need permits. Any help would be great.
cb at sea Posted October 3, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2006 I don't think personal pictures would require a permit--EVERYONE is taking pictures for their own use! As long as you're not representing a publication or broadcast, I can't see where a permit would be needed!
HookLine&Sinker Posted October 3, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2006 I wouldn't think there would be a problem as long as you weren't soliciting people and where just doing it for your own enjoyment in a casual type of way.
