For Anyone living in Honolulu

One quick question for you, I know this is going to seem like a stupid question, but here goes.

We will be flying in 2 day early and will be staying at the Marriott Waikiki Beach Hotel.

We try to take on board the cruise ship our water and soda. Now my question is can you get Pepsi products (in fact diet Mt Dew) in Honolulu, and is there quick market near our hotel on Waikiki where we can pick up a couple of 12 packs.

Yes, you can get Mountain Dew in Honolulu. Try the ABC store at nearly every corner....they should have it. There is an ABC at Aloha Tower too (where the ships dock). If you want more than a few, however, you might want to stop at Kmart which is about 1/4 mile west from the dock or Walmart which is a couple of blocks behind Ala Moana Mall to get a 12 pack.

We stayed at the Waikiki Marriott a couple of years ago, and at that time there was an ABC store right there at the hotel right in front of the oceanfront building. We enjoyed staying there.

Suebee - it's not an ABC in Aloha Tower - it's another generic sundries store but not an ABC. Nitpicky, I know, but just to clarify.

Who knew? We often go in there so we can buy something and get our parking ticket validated.

Ok,Ok....no ABC at the tower...but there is a sundries store where you could get soda.

I have a question as well.....how far is the peir and what is the best mode to get there from Wakikii. We will be staying near the fort.

Fort Derussey? It would be a 10-15 minute taxi to the pier traffic depending. Or you can take the bus, however you cannot carry your luggage on the bus. Taxi would be best mode of transport with luggage.
