Beaches

Can any one recommend a beach that's relatively near the pier (no more then a 30 min taxi ride). I've been to Meghan's Bay but I'm looking for a beach that offers more coral and ocean life. Any suggestions as to which beach I should visit would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. :p

Coki Beach is about a 20 minute cab ride and has pretty good snorkeling. Coral World next door is also quite interesting. The other choice for snorkeling on St. Thomas is Sapphire Beach - I've never snorkeled there but have seen the beach and it is quite pretty.

Thanks for the info. Someone mentioned Trunk Bay. Would you know long it takes to get there?
