It's twenty miles from LAX to the cruise port. Most of it on interstate highways.

I use to live in LA and cruised out of San Pedro many times. If it was me, I'd take a taxi unless you have more folks/luggage than a cab can handle. The transfers require alot of waiting - for everyone to board with their luggage on the bus, then waiting to get off the bus and get your luggage, also everyone arrives to the airport in mass. I would opt for the taxi too. Somehow waiting in the taxi line makes me feel like I am in more control than waiting for a bus to fill. A taxi is apt to be less costly too.

At worst,it is a 25 minute ride to LAX from the port of LA. It should cost your party around $40-45.00. I live very close to the port in Torrance. I can hear the ships horns announcing their departure. It makes me want to cruise all the time. Panama Canal is a wonderful trip; one of my favorites. Enjoy it to the fullest. I am on Odam Nov 11, 06 I can't wait.
